Pure Pebbles

A humble bar of soap is perhaps the most important tool in your daily routine. Though often overlooked, soaps come in a staggering array of compositions. Understanding the best soap to buy starts, first and foremost, by considering your skin type and analysing the components of a soap to see what will suit your needs best.

The industrialisation of soap created the hard bars you now find at any supermarket. Truth is, many of these conventional soaps are very harsh, full of chemicals and irritate the skin.

Fortunately, we make a wide range of soaps formulated to clean types without irritation or drying of the skin. Our Pure Pebble range is sold as part of our Skin Care routine as a moisturiser, but on its own it is also a solid cleanser, you’ll actually enjoy using one every day.

Below I have listed the for differences of each and I trust you will find the bar that is right for your skin type. If in doubt just ask – we will gladly advise!

Donkey’s Milk

Historical legend tells us that Cleopatra bathed every day in ass’s milk, today we produce natural soap that is made from it.

Donkey’s Milk is a powerful moisturiser, plus is full of healing, nutritional and rejuvenating properties for the skin. Rich in fatty acids, it allows the reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps to regenerate damaged skin, and remarkable results are being reported in people with eczema, acne and psoriasis who drink it or use natural soap made from it.

It adds a creaminess to soap, and the sugars in the milk add bubbly lather which hydrates and softens skin. Our Donkey’s Milk Soap has a pH level very close to the that of human skin, so it helps to moisturise and keep the skin’s oils in balance.

Donkey’s Milk is also hydrating which reduces skin irritations, and has four times the amount of vitamin C than cow’s milk. The many vitamins, proteins, minerals, and essential fatty acids make this ingredient a potent and effective one for your skin.

Goat’s Milk

Goat’s Milk is naturally high in vitamins and minerals and rich in butter fats, which makes it the perfect moisturiser. It has a creamy smooth texture that is nourishing for the skin. Vitamin E, which is the skin’s best friend, is found in abundance. All vegetable-based, with good foaming and moisturising properties, it has an extremely high glycerine content, which provides a pleasant skin feel.

Goat’s milk is packed with vitamins, such as A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, E, etc., and minerals, such as zinc, copper, iron, selenium, etc. Apart from that it also includes fatty acids, amino acids, citric acid, antioxidants, and enzymes. All these are needed not just for our body but are also important for our skin.

However, the best part is that goat’s milk can penetrate the surface layer of the skin fast and provide our skin’s tissue with sufficient amounts of nutrients. In short, regular use of our Goat’s Milk Soap can feed the skin and nourish it from within. Therefore, it can be used to heal skin infections, such as rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and contact dermatitis faster.

Oatmeal and Shea Butter

PEG-free, Paraben-free with a fantastic skin feel. Shea butter is the natural fat extracted from the nut of the Shea tree, also called Mangifolia tree, which grows in the semi-dry savannahs of West and Central Africa.

Our Oatmeal & Shea Butter Soap combines the exfoliating properties of oatmeal with enriching Shea Butter. Made with natural Oatmeal this offers a rich moisturising soap that helps to reduce skin irritations by exfoliating dead skin cells, promoting cleaner pores and clearer skin.

High in vitamin E, D and provitamin A, using this soap can effectively moisturise the face and body, maintaining the skin’s elasticity and hydration, whilst healing fine lines and wrinkles, (even those under the eyes). It can also help ease acne, rosacea, and rashes.

Honey was once the property of Royalty only. Cleopatra, for example, bathed in honey too. An English queen used it on her hair to keep it healthy and shiny. A French King’s mistress applied it to her face in a beautifying mask. Ancient gods were honoured with gifts of honey, and some cultures used it to embalm bodies and protect them from decay.

The benefits of our Honey Soap helps to keep it free of bacteria and washes away impurities. If you add honey to your regular beauty regime, you will see a great change in your appearance. If you have an oily skin with acne and pimples, honey is an ideal remedy for it.

This soap is again an effective remedy for skin redness and rosacea as it is a rich source of humectant which is responsible for moisture in the skin.

Charcoal Soap

Charcoal Black Soap has been making a splash in the world of skincare in recent years, and for good reason! Its ability to absorb toxins, chemicals and any unpleasant odours has long been known to practitioners and the general public alike.

Benefits include the lifting and removal of impurities, deeper absorption, gentle exfoliation, and an ideal for all skin types.

Our Charcoal Soap absorbs the excessive oils along with dirt from the skin. It is also effective in the removal of dead cells, thus providing clean and flawless skin. It not only aids the removal of toxins, but also removes skin impurities thus helping in the treatment of acne. It can help to clear facial marks resulting from acne too.

It not only extracts the dirt and grime, but also treats clogged pores and reduces their size. Whilst, on one hand, it extracts the excessive oil from the oily skin, on the other, it moisturises and nourishes dry skin. Furthermore, it is suitable for the sensitive skin types too.

“After trying many other soaps and none of them suiting my skin condition, I decided to try yours, your suggested pure pebble was simply fantastic – thank you so much!”
